The Discoverability Playbook: How We Built an Audience Worthy of a Legend

Some clients hand you a blank slate. Paul Bride handed us twenty-five years of adventure, a growing shelf of international awards, and photographs shot across nearly seventy countries. Our job wasn't to build a brand from nothing, it was to make sure the world could finally find it.

Who Is Paul Bride?

For a quarter century, Paul Bride has pointed his camera at the parts of the planet most people only see in dreams: frozen granite walls, storm cells swallowing the horizon, open ocean, and the faces of Elders who let him into rooms few outsiders ever enter. He is the photographer and videographer behind the footage of the first free ascent of the Cobra Crack, once considered the hardest crack climb in the world, a film that went on to win Best Short at the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

This year, his image "Crossing Dimensions: Shaman of Mongolia" earned a Platinum & Gold win at the 2026 London Photography Awards in the Fine Art Photography, People category, on top of a Silver placement at the 2026 Black & White Photo Contest and a nomination for the 1839 Awards. His work has also appeared alongside major outdoor and adventure brands, including Red Bull. He also just released his first photographic monograph, Until the Light Dies, with a foreword written by professional climber Sonnie Trotter. As Paul puts it, "I'll follow the camera as far as it takes me until the light dies."

The Challenge

Paul had the resume of a legend and the online footprint of a hobbyist. As a creative digital marketing agency built for founders and brands with real substance behind them, our task in April was simple to describe and hard to execute: take over his Instagram, build genuine discoverability, and turn decades of stories into a coordinated launch campaign for his new book, all without losing the raw, first-person voice that makes his work resonate in the first place.

Our Approach: The Creative Digital Marketing Agency Playbook

We rebuilt Paul's content calendar around the five pillars that define his career: climbing, water, people, travel, and storms, then paired them with behind-the-scenes reels that show the miles and waiting behind every frame. As a social media marketing agency and digital growth agency in one, we layered paid promotion on top of that organic storytelling, running a series of Instagram ad campaigns designed to drive traffic straight to his book landing page and sign-up list.

The Results

In the most recent 90-day stretch alone, Paul's account generated over 104,000 views and nearly 1,850 interactions, with the vast majority of that attention coming from non-followers discovering him for the first time. Our paid campaigns have pushed more than 94,000 additional views and driven over 1,000 website visits directly to his sign-up page. Paul has already passed the halfway mark on his goal of 200 book sign-ups, with months still to go before his book's full release.

Why It Matters

This case study is proof that even a legendary body of work deserves a strategy built to match it. Paul Bride already had the awards, the archive, and the story. Our role was to build the systems that put that story in front of a bigger audience, faster, and turn his existing reputation into measurable growth.
